The only Burn Center in the State of Connecticut is the Dr. Andrew and Henrietta Panettieri Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital. In fact, it reaches the highest standards in accordance with the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons and is one of the only 54 verified Burn Centers in the United States. The Burn Center treated nearly 200 inpatients and receives more than 800 outpatient visits each year.
