Diabetes Care and Treatment

Diabetes affects 21 million Americans and about 6 million are unaware that they have it. We are dedicated to helping our community learn how to manage day to day living with diabetes and achieve healthier lives.

Bridgeport Hospital's Diabetes Education Program is nationally recognized by the American Diabetes Association. We offer several services that address the needs of those with diabetes. Our Diabetes Education Center provides Diabetes Self-Management Training and Medical Nutrition Therapy sessions. We also offer a program for Diabetes of Pregnancy.
